York Lions Social Content

Over the course of the 2019-2020 OUA season, I led the development of a wide range of content for the York Lions social media accounts. Covering games, filming interviews, and coordinating photoshoots allowed us to elevate our content, bring in record levels of engagement, and promote the school to potential recruits.

The graphics proposal I developed for the 2019-2020 gave the Athletics and Recreation social channels a more consistent appearance while still distinguishing between the streams that each graphic is promoting. Photography was given a higher priority, as we began to plan team media days and send photographers to all events.

Although the graphics were meant to remain consistent across events, several high profile promotions (such as Homecoming or the Subway Series) are meant to have a distinctive look to form an identity with students. These events happen annually, so will build their brand over time by maintaining their aesthetic while other promotional materials change each year.
